Engineering is the art of creating and delivering concrete solutions to the problems of our daily life, our subsistence, and improving the quality of our wellbeing. In our era, engineering predominantly stands for the benefit of the humanity and nature in the design, development, production, implementation and operation of sustainable and dependable systems and services. These vital engineering products emerge from the synthesis of basic and fundamental sciences with the technological innovations.

Curiosity, creativity, challenging the complexity, and controlling the overwhelming are some of the predominant characteristics of the candidates who choose the engineering discipline. Engineering education aims on one hand, to develop the intuitive problem solving ability of the candidates into a systematic process, and on the other, to build the scientific and technological basis required by the profession.

The curricula in the Engineering Faculty comply with the national and international educational standards, and the programs are carefully designed to preserve the balance of the scientific and the technological components. We are aiming at forming able engineers, conscientious of the social, cultural, economical and ecological impact of the products and services they would develop.
